First of all, this is not a high-end gaming pc but.. this is enough to run crysis at high settings but with low resolution.. Not lagging.. Quite smooth i might add.. But for me i think better spend more on RAM 2Gigs is just not gonna cut it these days.. but make sure you use 64 bits OS (operating system) because 32 bits only support 2Gigs of Rams..
The first game i ran for this baby is C.O.D 4.. the graphics is beautiful.. It eats C.O.D 4 for breakfast.. Next game i tried is RA3.. once again running at low res.. (1024 x 768) all is set at ultra-high (except for texture quality & model detail which is set at high) and with 2x anti-aliasing.. It runs smoothly without any lag what so ever.. through out the campaign that i played..
I'm curently waiting for GTAIV to install in this pc.. From what i heard and read.. GTAIV is going to fully utilize all of the 4 cores.. So, cant wait to try it out.. I'm a big fan of the GTA series but always played them on my PS2 console.. So, this is the first time im gonna play it using a PC (obviously because i dont have a ps3.. >.< )
For me, overall it is a good PC.. consedering it's Spec and with that kind of price tag.. I was on a budget and manage to get a very good mid range PC.. I'm using it for almost 2 weeks now.. with no problems.. Running the PC for almost a week now without turning it off (i restart a few time because of software malfunction)..
If you are on the look out to buy a new gaming pc (on a budget).. this is the spec that is suggest.. and if you have extra money waste them on the graphics card.. instead of a 4850 consider buying a 4870 or 4870x2 (making it a dragon platform).. visit amd for more info on the dragon platform.. Overall for me it was a nice experience consedering this this my own pc and i assembled it my self.. feel free to comment and share info.. or question with me..
